A transplant to Washington state, Safiya carries roots from South Carolina bringing a touch of southern hospitality to the Pacific Northwest. Safiya is a graduate of Paul Mitchell Columbia and alumni of the University of South Carolina. Her belief in continual growth has led her to diversify her education and is committed to expanding her craft. Her experience extends beyond the chair to include work in fashion shows, photo shoots, and serving as a contributing writer for an online health & beauty column with Rx Muscle.

As a professional hair stylist and makeup artist, Safiya enjoys working on a variety of canvas' creating wearable art for her clients. Safiya is a certified instructor and specializes in creating rich dimensional color, balayage, easy to manage cuts, and special event makeup. Inspired by her travels and multi-cultural roots, her natural style and instinct brings a creative edge to her artistry that she enjoys sharing with her clients.
